We have two exciting events coming up and I know many of you will want to join in! You will definitely want to be a part of them because they are incredibly FUN! You also receive Bonus Points for participating!

Festival of the Arts - Pageant of the "Monsters”

Every five years, the Festival of the Arts hosts the "Pageant of the Monsters" event from October 27th, 28th, 29th and 31st. The event runs from 6pm to 10pm. We have been invited by FOAPOM to join their event and host a themed workshop. We will have a booth where we can do two projects: making paper pumpkins and creating watercolor fall leaf note cards (see images below) Approximately 2,000 people are expected to attend each night. It's a great chance for us to promote ourselves and be part of the community. Come and help guide the guests through the workshops. Let's have fun, enjoy the company of our fellow artists, and get spooked! BOO!

Scarecrow contest if any of you would like to participate! There are cash prices: 1st - $500.00, 2nd - $200.00, 3rd - $100.00, and People’s Choice - $100.00.

The Community Tree Decorating at the Sawdust Festival

Last year's Tree Decorating event was an absolute blast! Not only did we have a fantastic time, but we also achieved the feat of winning Best In Show.

Tree Decorating:

Wednesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 16 from 10am–5pm.

The Community Tree Lighting Ceremony : Saturday, November 18th 5:30pm.

(The voting window will remain open all Opening Day, Friday, November 17th until mid-day Saturday, allowing guests more time to vote on their favorites.).

Workshop: (Theme will be Red and Sliver) Date TBD

We need all your support to come and vote) 

Janna Arutyunyan, will be spear heading our team again with her expertise and creativity in another workshop to create ornaments.

Note: If any artist would like to hand make their own RED ornament - Deliver to 24732 Dana Point Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629. There will be a box located on the deck, please place your ornament in the box or you can send it
